No matter your past or present circumstances, one weekend with Jesus can change everything. Men's Encounter is a 48 hour event, where men from all walks of life come together to experience the power, freedom and love of Jesus Christ.

Encounter is comprised of 10 different sessions, 2 cabin talks & 3 workshops .

Sessions: Each session has a time of worship, real and raw testimonies, teaching from God's word and personal reflection.

Workshops: Each workshop has interactive teachings and group activations designed to equip you with the tools you need to maintain a life of freedom.

Cabin Talks: Cabin talks are intimate small group discussions that allow for each person to open up and share.

All teaching and testimonies are presented by ordinary men, sharing their ENCOUNTER with an extraordinary God. Like any event, you get out of it what you put into it. Those who come with an open heart, leave with a new one. Men's Encounter is a truly life changing experience. Whether you attend church or not, if your a believer or a nonbeliever... you're just one Encounter away from a total life transformation.

Q.) What do I need to bring?

A.) Twin size bedding or a sleeping back, pillow, weather appropriate clothing, a bathing suite (even if you think you wont need it), good walking shoes, toiletries, towel. Optional: flashlight, bible, notebook, water bottle

If you have a CPAP, we will make accommodations for you. Don't forget to bring any medications you might need.

Q.) Where do I go on Friday and what time to I need to get there?

A.) Imlay City Christian Church, 395 N. Cedar St. Imlay City, MI 48444. Check-in begins at 4:30pm and Orientation starts at 5:00 pm. You will leave your car at the church and a bus or van will be provided to transport everyone to the camp where you will stay for the remainder of your weekend.

Q.) When will the Encounter be over?

A.) You will arrive back to the church around 4pm on Sunday.

Q.) Can I drive myself directly to the camp?

A.) No. Encounter Ministry will provide transportation for everyone from the church to the camp on Friday evening, and from the camp back to the church on Sunday afternoon.

Q.) Are meals included?

A.) There will be six meals provided during your event. This includes a meal Friday evening and lunch before you leave on Sunday. Snacks, coffee & water will also be available between meals.

Encounter Ministry of Michigan is the organization that hosts the Men's and Women's Encounter weekends and will take all normal precautions to ensure safety and provide a safe environment. However, no activity is without the possibility of unforeseen hazards. I, the undersigned, hereby relieve, indemnify, save, and hold harmless Encounter Ministry of Michigan and its employees, and its volunteers from and against any and all liability or claims arising from injury, illness, or damage to person or property or both, caused by or resulting from acts, omissions, or conduct of any person, other than the negligence of said Encounter Ministry of Michigan, its employees and its volunteers. I understand that if I am feeling ill or have knowingly been exposed to COVID 19 within two-week prior to the event I am responsible to notify the Encounter Ministry of Michigan leaders and my Encounter may be postponed to a future date. I authorize Encounter Ministry of Michigan to secure necessary emergency medical or surgical treatment in the event of injury or illness and agree to pay all costs and expenses incurred for treatment. Should it become necessary to return home for medical or other reasons, I will assume all transportation costs.

Release to use my likeness in any photograph, video, or other digital media (“Photos”) taken or to be taken on 11/6/26 -11/8/26 during Men’s Encounter in any and all of its publications, including print or web-based publications.
I authorize Encounter Ministry of Michigan to copy, edit, enhance, crop, or otherwise alter any photo for use in their publications. I also waive any rights for approval or inspection to me.
I understand and agree that all photos are the property of the Encounter Ministry of Michigan and will not be returned to me.
I acknowledge that I am not entitled to any compensation or royalties with respect to the use of the photos.
